Earth station configuration

The equipment of the stations is structurally divided into two parts: remote antenna post (up to 200 m) and the cabinet module.

Antenna post

Antenna post includes actually the antenna with an antenna drive mechanism on angle of elevation and an azimuth, the radio-frequency equipment, the Control unit.

Radio-frequency equipment

Sstructure of the radio-frequency equipment consists of:

• power amplifier;
• low noise amplifier (LNA);
• Up/Down converter;
• SHF waveguide and cable channels.

Cabinet module

The structure of the cabinet module includes the hardware rack in which are placed:

• modem (DMD 2400, DMD 2401, SDM 300, SM 3000, PSM 1500, PSM 4900, SCM-5);
• multiplexer (CS 8000, Access Plus 100);
• workstation;
• UPS;
• signal adders and splitters.
